This is her blood results for the last 4 years. Basically from when I took over her care from my sister and she was already diagnosed as CKD. There is no real changes in her behaviour at home outside a slight drop in appetite. Her latest blood work shows an increase in BUN levels but I don't see really changes in the other major markers for CKD but that said, I have not done a lot of research on this disease up until now, so a bit of a newbie. The vet indicated she is now firmly in stage 2 of CKD and there doesn't seem to be any other health concerns right now (anti-jinx). She did suggest further testing of blood pressure test and an urine culture and urine protein creatitine ratio but there doesn't seem to be a push on these. The vet has suggested sub q liquids once a week 100 ml, which some feed back suggests that it is not necessary at this point and is not beneficial - so I am a little
. I don't want to be something that isn't helpful.
I was discussing with @LizzieInTexas and that some SEB would be helpful in ensure a settled stomach (possible reason for the reduced appetite) or maybe a B complex. She does have the white foamy vomit/water vomit now and again (every 3-6 weeks a 1 day instance) and I usually give a dose of pepcid (liquid) for a day or two then stop. She has never been on a consistent dose of pepcid.
She is on KD dry, KD wet and recently added some BFF to mix in the KD wet I would like to eliminate the dry and we all know the complications from that.
Thank you to everyone that has any advice. @Marje and Gracie, can you be so kind to take a look at her results and see if you see anything?
I just want to do right by Miss Rain.

- So, I am looking for other food to swap out the dry KD and hopeful entice her to eat more. I have my list from Tanya's site and will be going shopping this week.
- If it is thought wise - get some SEB and try adding that daily to her food.
- If it is thought wise - get some vit B - complex or 12 to add in appetite.
- Do any of the other tests make sense to have done?
