He didn't want to be out
done by his younger brother, Bubba. Even though he is a senior cat,,he still has what it takes in the big ole world.

Apparently field mice get big!You have the biggest rodents there in PA! It would freak me out!
All that we seem to have around here are the teensy little mice that just look like a round pom-pom with a tail.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Lucy!Bobbie, that's hilarious! Forrest looks so proud of himself, too! "Look what I caught, Mom, just for you!"
Hope you and yours have a very happy Thanksgiving!![]()

I'm the luckiest Ma in the world!Look, Ma! Its for you!
These boys are very prolific in the hunting department.OMGosh, Forrest. Ew. I mean, good boy! No, ewwww.
He looks so proud. You have a matched set of vermin from Bobbie's Boys!
No but we have 3 acres of land and there is 10 acres behind us of open fields.Do you live on a farm?

A vole!! Well that explains why some are so dark and others are more like mousey grey. Those little stinkers destroying your plants. Guess they are like moths, chewing up the most expensive wools and cashmeres first. Good luck with getting control of them. Maybe I should ship Bubba and Forest to you for a bit.Good job Forrest! That's a nasty, rotten little vole. They're bigger than field mice, darker, and their tails are shorter. There's war on voles here at my house. This is the first year we've had them, and they destroyed so many of my plants. A healthy plant will suddenly look withered one day, and when you pull it up you'll find a big hole where the root ball should be. Voles! And they seem to zero in on the plants you spent the most money on at the garden center. I'm still getting a few a week in traps set in the chicken coop. If Jones brought me home a vole, he'd get prime rib for dinner.
Bubba was lower this morning which I am thankful but at @+5 he was 242 so....not sure if he ate a mouse or vole or what ever else he eats before he came home. I weighed him today and he's down to 14 lbs. I am really getting concerned. Friday I am taking him back to the vets for more blood work. Maybe he has developed a thyroid problem since his last blood work of Sept 2. I am lost.....okay - that explains all the mice!!! how is Bubba today?
