I might will lost in my thoughts so please be patient with me.
We rescued Barker just over a year ago. He was hanging out on one of our work property for a long time – Finally one of my collages called me to look it him. He looked awful. (skin and bone, dirty, very hungry). I took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with sever asthma and lung issue –( some spots on his lung), He had 4-5 bad attack a day, lasting 2-3 minutes. In a week with inhaler his attacks was reduced to 2-3 lighter ones. He is receiving vitamins and started on naturopathic supplements regularly. After two months he has maybe 2 attacks a week.
Most of the time he is well, sweet and a real talker, especially at feeding time. He is my only lap cat. He follows me around when I refill the water bowl and fountains, sits at my leg and asking’ why I am not faster and ready yet with that yummy food?”
OK, this morning he wasn’t by my side so I looked for him during the water refill. He was sitting on the sofa, trying to clean/reach his face with his right paw, but wasn’t able to reach it, his balance was totally on his left side. Since he could do it he tried to stand on his four legs but he couldn’t. All weight was on the left side and kind of dragging the right.
At this moment I grabbed him and (I don’t know why) started to massage him through his body. After 2-3 minutes he started to talk. I put him down and he was standing on all four legs. His balance wasn’t perfect yet (took a couple minutes) then he walk normal like noting happened and yes, he was by my side asking for his breakfast and everything went back to normal.
I do have thought on this but I would like to ask for opinions, especially those who have lot more experience and probably knowledge too. I can’t and shouldn’t relax my mind on this situation.
