11/23 Recap:
1.0 unit 2x a day
AMPS: 166
AM+3.75: 62
PMPS: 140
PM+7: 115
Cinco continues to improve as he gets further removed from his procedures. We were out last night so didn't get a post shot reading until +7, but I like where this is headed. When I checked him at +3.25 this AM, he was ravenous and ate every bite I would give him. I gave him more than his normal breakfast since he was so low. I'm still having to rinse out his mouth after he eats, so he is not really happy with me right now. He slinks off to his favorite hidey hole when we're done and does his post-meal bath there instead of in the middle of the room like normal - I think he's trying to tell me something! Can't wait to see what his numbers will be tomorrow, once he's been off the AB for 24 hours. Looks like we have one more dose left in the bottle. He'll get that this afternoon. Fingers are still crossed that he continues with these lovely green numbers and we can look forward to a reduction soon.
I am going to start my pre-holiday cleaning today with the dumping and scrubbing of the litter boxes, accompanied by a thorough vacuuming, so I don't expect Cinco to come out of his hole voluntarily until food is offered (he does NOT like that noise). Hopefully the stress won't bump his PMPS number up.
Happy Sunday!
