Cinco is currently announcing (at the top of his lungs) that he has just eaten his mid-day snack. I don't know why, but after the feeder turns and he polishes off his bonito flakes, he seems to feel the need to tell the world about it. He sometimes also announces that he is settling in for a nap. I've never had such a vocal kitty. He may be a creamy-orange tabby, but I swear there's some Siamese in there somewhere.

The ears are still gunky, so we had another torture/cleaning session this morning. If I can't get them clean by his dental recheck Wednesday, I'll ask the vet tech to clean them for me. I think they're feeling a little better, as he's not shaking his head quite as much. Wondering if this is a result of the antibiotics he was on? Anyway, will keep trying to get them clean. Otherwise, all is proceeding well in Cincoland.

Sending good thoughts and healing vines to all who need them. Off to do Christmas baking...

perhaps he's proud of himself for having conquered the auto feeder and gotten the good stuff out!

his BGs are sure looking great. Cinco doesn't seem to really like getting insulin shots. ;-)

Ha ha, Julie! I think he's proud to have found it. It's hard enough for him, with his poor eyesight, when it's where it's supposed to be, but my dh takes his afternoon naps on that sofa, and he moves it to an ottoman and forgets to move it back! Then Cinco really has to hunt for it!

He definitely doesn't like getting insulin, but even more than that, he HATES getting his ear poked. I've started explaining to him that the sooner he gets himself into remission, the sooner we can stop testing so much! Maybe it's workin???
