? Chronic Pancreatitis

I know she had it while DKA in the hospital but Ive since read on here lots of cats have "chronic pancreatitis"
what does that mean exactly? Google results weren't fulfilling.
How do I know if she's prone to it or, I don't know, even anything about how I can possibly prevent it? Is it related to diabetes management or totally separate?

It is very simple to diagnos a pancreatitis. For diagnosing pancreatitis, a fPLI blood test is done, and also an UCG. Definitely do the fPLI blood test. The vet should be able to do it.
