Hello All,

I was wondering if you guys had a good recommendation for a chicken or turkey wet food that is low in carbs and moderate to low in fat. My picky eater will only go for foul and has grown tired of her current food, which is Wellness Minced Chicken Dinner. She isn't a fan of Pâté so I'm hoping you all might have a few gravy laden types that you could suggest. Currently she is just licking the gravy off of the Wellness and walking away.

Thank you!

Beth

My 2 also only liked the gravy types of wet food (and would only lick up the gravy and leave the meat as they were mostly dry food fed at the time). When I had to switch Rosa to low carb, I found that by adding a lot of water to the pate type food, I could make food that was close to gravy in consistency - and they both love it, as do all the other cats in the house. If your kitty is a gravy addict, that might be a way of you having more options on what she'll eat.

I get Friskies Special Diet Turkey & Giblets Dinner Classic Pate. They have a non-special diet one but I get this because Brody has been blocked before.

Many of the weruva canned varities are in gele. While not gravey, my cat loved to lick them up. However, many have tuna even if not in the name so you need to check the back of the can or the ingredient list on their website. The nutritional info on the website is VERY comprehensive. However, this food is expensive, especially since it's low calorie and you need to feed more. I've found the small cans are not much less than the big ones. Stay away from the pouches since they are high carb.
