Chicken Little Update

I took a much needed long weekend and went on a fishing trip with my family to Gulf Shores, Alabama. While I was away my uncle baby sat the drooler and my wonderful gal from Fetch pet care took care of Chicken Little for me.
It was expensive but they both got to remain at home so I thought it was well worth it. Chicken only received about half of the insulin she should have got and did not get any meds for her Liver however she actually did really well and looked pretty good when I returned. She was super duper happy to see me!! She came out of the closet she was hiding in just a purring and she did not leave my side for about a day afterwards. It was so sweet that it made me want to cry for leaving her in the first place!! I was also thrilled that one day this week she tested at 134 and did not get a shot!! That was a nice surprise!! She is still suffering from some effects of Liver Failure but all in all she seems to feel pretty decent.
I'm counting my blessings!! :dizcat :RAHCAT

This is lovely news. I have been wondering about you and Chicken Little. I remember you thought you might lose her soon, so these days of snuggling must be a great joy for you.

Yes Sue, I'm still so afraid of loosing her so each day is a blessing! She still has her bad days and good days and I still see no improvement on the Liver meds but she is doing well enough that I'm still trying!!
