In order to get Howie to try and eat better (a little faster as he takes forever), I found some “human” organic chicken bone broth at ALDIs to mix in his food instead of just water. It has no onion or garlic juice/extract and has 9 grams protein, 95mg sodium and 150mg potassium per serving (1cup). He only gets a couple tablespoons a day at most. It’s actually working because he’s eating faster and not taking so many breaks (perhaps actually likes it!). Should I have any worries with the nutritional info (protein, sodium, potassium)? It’s so much cheaper than the pet broth/flavor enhancers!
