Hi @Doodles & Karen

Thanks for checking, I do appreciate it!

Reasons I increased dose:

-I freaked at high numbers again.
-Weird as it sounds he has litter sticking to his paws and that has meant high numbers in the past. His Ketones are negative.
-I thought I did hold 0.1 for 6 cycles??
-the day he dropped to 64 (8/24) he had been eating very poorly so I attributed low numbers to that. That evening he started eating better.
-Yesterday and today he is eating as if he is starving.

So that's my story and I am sticking to it. ;)

We determine dose primarily based on the nadirs, not those high preshots which were a result of a bounce. I would go back to 0.1 units tonight. That increase was not safe, especially since you can't test at night. That 0.25 got him to a 29 just 4 days ago! Those temporary high numbers are a bounce. Looks like Harley is coming down today, you might see low numbers tonight from that 0.25 units this morning.

I thought I did hold 0.1 for 6 cycles??
You are feeding kibble, that means following SLGS for dosing and holding the dose for 7 days. And really means that 64 two days ago earned a reduction.

By the way, I noticed the notes on your spreadsheet saying to open a new pen each month. As long as it's in the fridge, that's not necessary, use it to the last drop. I once used one for 3 months, and Neko's dose was a bit larger.

Geez. Harley is sleeping like a lamb, and I have a headache! Will drop back to 0.1 units and hold if it kills me! At least he is eating very well today.

I kept the Pen out because, I really don't know why. :banghead:
