Good Morning LL :-D

Barb here. Gonna make this brief. The taskmaster is scolding me for sitting on this chair.
Checks is doing quite well, for cat that has had no insulin since 6/2, PM cycle. Then soared next morning on kibble.

We are not giving insulin again today. I want to see what he does on his own, with shed depleted. I also have followup appts, for eye, in 2 days, then neuro doc soon, so he wouldn't get it those days.
Uh oh, I hear the shower turned off. Gotta go :lol:

I would like to thank you all for the wonderful warm welcome you gave Susan. She printed out posts and brought them to hospital for me.
I love you all soooooo much. Thank you all for the concern and love you sent.

It is so nice to hear from you Barb. We won't tell! Look at those numbers for Checkers w/o insulin. Wow! I would definitely see where it goes from here since his shed is depleted.

It is great to hear from you Barb - do take care, and I hope all is well with you. We have missed you. I give a thousand thumbs up for Susan - she did so well with all of this, and Checkers too.

The numbers for Checks are great - and with no insulin too boot. Go Checks!

Hi barb, and welcome back (even if it's a secret :lol: ) Checkers is looking soo good, especially without insulin the last few days, very impressive my man! Now checks, go push your beanz back onto the couch for some more resting .. have a great day guys!

167 7:30 AM no juice
144 @ 3 hours after first test........tuna snack

snacked all morning, but no food for 2 hours before test.

Oh how exciting. I hope Checkers continues to do well.
And Barb, please behave yourself and do what the "taskmaster" tells you to do! :lol:

We're so glad you are back! Just take care of yourself. Checks is doing so great staying in the healing numbers without the juice. Paws crossed! Susan was great, you and Checkers are so lucky to have her there.

Barb, so glad that you are home and obeying doctor's orders!!! You are so lucky to have Susan there to help out. And Checks is doing his best to show you that he can stay in good numbers without insulin. May that continue!! Have a good, restful day.

Leo and i are hoping you're getting better everyday and we wish you a speedy recovery. How great Checkers is doing without the juice, keep up the good work Checkerboy!

Hi Barb! It's nice to "see" you, but please do listen to Susan and take it easy!! You don't want to set back your recovery by doing too much too soon. Rest and heal....

Susan is doing a wonderful job with Checkers and keeping us up to date...thank you, Susan!

I hope Checkers continues to do ok without insulin. I guess I have to be the party pooper....his numbers are out of the normal range...so don't wait too long if he keeps creeping up.

Hi Barb!!!! We're so glad you're back but don't sit at that computer long!!!! We missed you very much!! Just take care of yourself. Susan did a great job keeping us posted and you need to totally heal!!

It's great that Checks is staying in blue for you!! This would be great until you are able to get him back on the juice and glad Laurie was the party pooper!! :lol: :lol: We all love you too!!!

Welcome back. I'm sure it's good to be back in your own bed and to have Checkers with you!!

Like Laurie, I hate to point out that these are not normal BG numbers. Also, if you want to see how Checkers is doing without insulin, it would help to see how he's doing without insulin and without kibble.

I had to go to another doc appt, at 8:30 . Fed everyone at normal time, but left out lot, know kwownigng when I'd get home. Most was eaten. by whom, I dont know
Checks had come down from 140's, to 117 in the meantime.
