I have not posted on here because I am one of the lucky ones with a great veterinarian. My Izzy started slow and super low and we have be very well regulated from week 2 and will start the hopeful transition to remission next month. No hypo incidents, testing every day and curves the first several weekends. Fructosamine test results came back great. All is going very well! In all of this I have gone through so many different food brands due to my other cat actually -

For anyone that can access PetSmart - their own brand of the pate style of food is really cheap and does not have grains or starches and has reasonable protein to carb ratios. Some have cargeenan and some do not for those that have that battle. When I found my cat not only liked the food but her BG # are staying between 85 as a low and 120 as a high (usually closer to 90 - 115) I thought I should share!

Good luck all.

Hi! I buy cat food at PetSmart. I usually buy Wellness and Fancy Feast. I didn't know they had their own brand! I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip.
