Charlie started levemir

I just gave Charlie his first dose of levemir. 4u of that is so much tinier than 8u of pz. It feels nice to be shooting a smaller quantity of insulin. Even if we get back up to 8u of lev it'll still be so much less insulin than pz. I think he will still need another round of ab's for his toe. No uti, though, so that's good news. I hope lev agrees with sweet Charlie. He needs a break.
