Hi guys,

At the risk of sounding completely crazy, I have to post this.

Today, while watering the flowers on my balcony, I found a tiny little rainbow in a place where I've never seen one before.

In fact, never in 8 years have I seen any rainbows on this balcony, and certainly not on a sunny day with no rain at all!

Today, I saw one just next to a tiny little sculpture that looks like Charlie that my parents gave to me years ago.

It was as if it the rainbow was placed right there so that I would see it and immediately think of old Charlie girl, knowing that she made it safely to the rainbow bridge, so to speak.
I've never really believed in that theory, but this felt comforting today so I thought I'd share with all of you. Thank you again for all the help you provided to us during the 2 years when we were fighting diabetes on a daily basis.

Have an excellent weekend everybody,
Jill

Oh my goodness, that is beautiful, amazing, and I believe it is absolutely a sign from your sweet Charlie. Thank you for sharing Charlie's rainbow...I think hearing about these signs from others' beloved GAs helps spread hope and faith as we face our own challenges!

Hi Jill,

It's lovely to feel that she's still with you. What a beautiful photo at the top of her profile - she was a beautiful girl. I loved reading about her care for you.

I had a cat, Jetzin, who was a feral kitten and also a terror at vets or when he was frightened. He was so sweet and loving when he felt safe though. I had multiple vets try and tell me that it would be kinder to him to put him down. They just couldn't believe how different he was at home. I think it created a stronger bond with him because I knew how much he needed me to create that safe environment and also how much he trusted us to be so different at home.

Thanks for coming back to tell us your story. :YMHUG:

Those little signs - they mean something. Many people don't pay attention so I'm glad you got Charlie's message. I love that lil cat sculpture!

Jill

I am so glad Charlie sent you a message. I firmly believe our kitties stay with us for a very long time to comfort us and just when we least expect it or perhaps they feel we most need it, they send us a sign of the love that bonds us forever.

Thank you for sharing.

What!!! That is so awesome!! I absolutely believe that they send us signs like that. Thank you so much for sharing it with us

Wow, that is really cool. Thank you so much for sharing. I think of you often. I'm glad you logged in to visit. Hugs.

Charlie was a real cool cat. She will be missed.

I hope that everyone on here finds the strength to continue to do what you are doing in taking such good care of your little guys. They are lucky to have you.
