Charlie ketones 1.3 5:30 central

Thanks for checking in! They're scribbled on my whiteboard since sometimes I can't enter them on the spreadsheet on my phone. Just added them. Mid 200s. Gonna try to get a pm +4 after he uses the litter box and do a ketone stick
 
247. So, just bobbing along, not going anywhere. Frustrating.

I need to read the TR stuff again. His vet wants me to increase when his +4-+8 doesn't drop below 200 to keep the ketones monster at bay

Fortunately, you tested ketones, right? I was reading the comments on your SS. And eating well is HUGE! I’m really pleased and I hope it continues.
 
I got a ketone stick in a fresh pee on the box earlier. I didn't do the blood meter today. He seemed to be doing well. I did put in the directions for the cat sitter to check daily with the blood meter and give fluids if over 0.6 and to recheck and call the vet if it was going up. Ditto if he was not eating/ throwing up.

I hate leaving. He seems like he strings together 5-6 good days and the is like j/k actually trying to die again.

But he ate really well today. I think we have one little rabbit meatball left in the Tupperware, so he's had 6-7 ounces and that one will be his 3 am feed me Seymour snack.

I should be able to get his Zofran from the compounding pharmacy before we leave tomorrow so hopefully that will help keep the nausea and vomiting at bay as well.
 
He ate a ton last night. But he looks rotten again at midday (12:45 pm central). His ketones were 1.5 on the blood meter and I gave him fluids. His cat sitter has instructions to retest ketones and if they haven't gone down to get him into the ER vet. She also works there so hopefully they will listen to her.

My heart is breaking. My husband was like do not choose the cat over me and I'm like you are gonna live another 20, 30, 49 years. Charlie has 9 months at the most. At this rate, I feel like maybe less
