When I used to use Lantus, I was told by the vet a change in dose would take about 5 days to show in the Curve. I am not sure if this was because of the 'depot' or not.

Regardless of Lantus's depot, is Prozinc the same way in waiting 5 days to see a changed dose effective in the curve? If not, what is the time window?

Prozinc is a "in and out" insulin. whatever dose you give will most likely be out of your cats system in 12 hours.

The low point is usually between 5-7 hours, but can be a little earlier or later

Yep, Sarah's right. Prozinc doesn't have a depot build up, so you don't have to wait. Some cats do better if you don't change dose every time, but some do better with that. It's an ECID thing. :)
