Good appetite as usual but never vomits. This is first time vomiting since diagnosed. Vomited a few hrs before AMPS this morning & then shortly after a few times. Then hungry, ate more, then vomited shortly after again. Mostly thin food-colored liquid (possibly foamy) & tiny chicken chunks (sorry!). Very concerned, this isn't like her. Everything else appears normal. Just saw @lbeachstace inquiry on FMB and this sounds a bit similar so that helps. She definitely has the weight loss as well, but didn't know if that was because of being taken off the dry & being put on all LC wet for abt a mth & a half now. She always has a small third meal though late at night around 9p-12a, so she hadn't gone without eating for a long period before the vomiting.

Vomiting due to insulin is not normal.
Did you change food about the time you started insulin? Vomiting due to food change can happen.
You signature lists a lot of different foods. Doall all fed each time? Can you associate the vomiting with the food eaten?

Well, the only food I feed her as a meal are the Friskies patés, the rest are treats. However, now that you mention it, I was given a pouch of chicken chunks at the pet food pantry that I put on top her food this morning and she loved it so much, I topped it off some more. I wonder if she had a reaction to that or if it was from not eating for too long like the thread for @lbeachstace mentioned above.

hi @Anjee and Celia - buddy tends to vomit a bubble foam liquid with nothing else present. i have been told this is stomach acid from not eating for a while. he tends to do this in the mornings, as we do give snack during the day. so his longest stretch is from dinner to am feeding.

If this persists, i would contact your vet. We also do autoship from Chewy and that gives us free online calls with vets. we've used it many times and they are very helpful as well - they can't prescribe drugs but they can give advice.

i hope this helps. - stacey

Hasn't vomited since then, knock on wood. Thank you everyone for your help. Vet now says she's trending toward remission, so I'm crossing fingers!
