Rocky was diagnosed last April and today got the good news that he is in remission. No more treatment needed unless he begins to show signs again at some point. Otherwise we are free of the clinic until February! He doesn't understand what all the excitement is about, but will when I no longer come at him with a needle!

YAY! Congratulations!!!!
My Izzy only has one more day to go on her OTJ trial before her official diagnosis of remission.
I am very happy for you! The best to your kitty in staying in remission too!!!!

By the way, his fructosamine number was 395. Any thoughts?
Fructosamine tests have different parameters than glucometers so you'll want a copy of the full report since it will give you a "conversion" of what that number really means. (i.e. on some tests, 190-365 is considered "non-diabetic range.") Depending on the test, 395 could be a very good number. Was this test taken after he'd been off insulin for a few weeks?
