One of Little Bit’s brothers LOVES to chew on our fake tree. I was kindly reminded of this after he already vomited while the tree was just erected this afternoon. How can I keep him from chewing the branches? I am reluctant to use spray deterrents because LB has feline asthma. Please tell me a magical fix!

I will try it! I just got back from the grocery store with copious amounts of oranges which are now strategically placed all over the tree; it hasn’t fazed him. I’ve been adding aluminum foil in his chewing spots and that works for a couple minutes.

I changed the lights from white to colored and apparently colored aren’t as appetizing!!!

How can I keep him from chewing the branches?

Paint them with a solution of Flagyl?
