Hi all,

Me and Sox have been here for a while but has been OTJ for a year and a half.

Past couple of days he's had a slightly runny bum (put it down to the hot weather we're having at the moment)

Noticed Friday morning he kept going in litter box (7 times in half hour) not doing any thing but that soon stopped later that day.

Woke up this morning and it appears he has been spraying blood, checked his bloom sugars they were 12.3 but know this goes up with other illnesses.

Otherwise in him self he seems fine eating and drinking.

I will be contacting the vets but no where open at the moment.

People's ideas could this possibly be a UTI or cystitis possibly?

Thank you

If you're able to you'll save time by getting a urine sample ahead of an in person vet visit. I keep 5 urine kits in stock as the vet will ALWAYS ask for a urine sample (or take one themselves in clinic) for these kinds of issue. If you can't take urine on the morning of the appointment then try the night before and keep it in the fridge.
