My cat, Bobbi has been recently diagnosed with diabetes. She has to have daily insulin injections at 12 hourly intervals. I am looking for a cat sitter experienced in giving injections to allow me to have a short holiday.
Can anyone recommend one based in Glasgow's West End, please ?

Hi Nettie
I'm assuming you're in Glasgow, Scotland (don't know if there are Glasgows elsewhere but this is a worldwide board with most members in the US). I'm in the UK but nowhere near you... no recommendations I'm afraid but in your shoes I would first enquire at the vets surgery if any of their nurses could help you... quite a few vet nurses supplement their income this way and they are ideal for short-term kitty cover! Failing that you might have to Google 'cat sitters Glasgow' and see what comes up. There are quite a few companies these days offering pet sitting so you'd have to sift through those local to you and see if they're prepared to give insulin.
Good luck!

Dear Diana and Tom,
thanks for your prompt reply (and yes I'm in Glasgow, Scotland) I will speak to the vet who diagnosed Bobbi's condition. His practice has several nurses , one of whom demonstrated how to inject.

Thanks again,
Nettie
