I took a trip and left my cat with a sitter for 6 days. He is extremely bony, meowing like crazy, and won't eat but keeps walking up to water. I honestly don't know if I can trust that the times they tested him lines up with when the injection was given. They told me they gave the injection at 6:15 this morning even though he was tested at 5:16am. Not sure what I should do. Any information would be appreciated. Below is a link to an excerpt 4/30 of the testing they did. His BG seems okay so I don't think it is DKA???

Hi! Sorry Brody isn't feeling well :bighug:Have you checked in with your vet? I would if you haven't already.

I also wanted to mention the SS link in your signature isn't updated and the link in your post is not public. Perhaps you can share the recent BGndata?

Have you tested for ketones (urine strip or blood meter)? I would do that ASAP.

When is the last time Brody ate? I'd also be concerned about Hepatic lipidosis - I think it can develop pretty quickly. Have you tried syringing food? There's a good post here with lots of info.

Again, if it was me, I'd be checking in with my vet :bighug: I hope that Brody feels better.

How long have you been back at home? Separation anxiety is more of a dog thing but could Brody have been under stress while you were away or gotten into something? House plants all okay?
Our cats don't agree on who the Alpha male is and two constantly get bumped off their food. Are there other cats in the home? Strange things happen while we're gone.
For now try another water bowl in a different location. Agreed he should see a vet.
