Hi, I would like to try and make some homemade cat food for my non-diabetic cat to try. I saw someone one here talked about Dr Lisa having some recipes but couldn't find it on her site.
My 5 year old cat, Rocky, is not overweight and has been on Purina One for all the time I've had him. I've tried to switch to better brands of dry and I have offered every kind of wet food and mostly he just doesn't eat any. Since I've been trying to get my diabetic cat, Lucy, to eat, Rocky has been offered a WIDE array of foods and no dice.
I am measuring out his food now anyway so he won't overeat but I'm at a loss. I really envy people on here who list several various kinds and flavors that their cats devour. Mine have never loved canned food. If Lucy ever does start eating, vs syringe feeding, I just envision a nighmare trying to get her to eat canned all the time.
