I'm seriously considering switching to his backup meter for a while, just to make sure it's not the meter screwing up. I know some of the weirdness over the weekend was bad strips--towards the end of the container I end up "wasting" a lot of strips because I get really weird numbers. The 367 from this morning showed up twice (367, 369) so I have to accept it. I haven't seen any sign that the meter's bad but I have been using it for a year on the same battery.

I just hope he doesn't go too much lower while I'm at work; he should have nadired by now but that 104 was a +4...

Over on Lantus, one of the beans is having the same issue (Relion scoring different than One Touch), with a variant of 100 points or so. Wonder if Relion borrowed a page from Freestyle? I use Relion.

Edit to add name of other meter.

I actually suspect the strips over the meter; been using the same meter for over a year and this is the first time I've had issues. I use a relion confirm & his backup is a relion micro.

Maybe they're trying to get everyone to switch to their new meter (bad thought).

Just looking at the last couple of days, I was thinking "earlier". Like what if the nadir was a bit less than 87 and the 310 was a mini-bounce? But also that night, if the nadir was earlier than +6, then the 367 might be a bounce off that...
But then if I look back a few more days, that logic doesn't seem to make sense either? Unless he just doesn't have a consistent nadir? I know that in the study I looked at when they were testing Prozinc against the old PZI, the data seemed to suggest that the longer a kitty was on Prozinc, the later the nadir. But then that study only lasted 45 days.

It fluctuated a lot in the beginning, but it seemed to have settled. Haven't run a curve in a while, though. Of course, he's never been predictable.

You could try that. Or adjust the dose to .8 in the PM and leave it at .6 for AMPS?
