Cassie 11/7-8 -- trial BID again

So yesterday:
MDPS 321, .2u (+8)
+3 390
+5 265
+8 316 food at usual time)
PMPS 378, .3 (+12) (snack w/shot)
+4 231 (food at usual time)

They usually eat at TID shot time, so the temp BID has food at weird times. I have a couple concerns about going back to BID (other than my crazy schedule).

1) He's still got (usually) an early nadir, which is why I went BID to start with. Going back to BID will eliminate any overlap but is hes going to shoot sky high in between again? If so, what do I do?

2) Do I need to adjust the dose back up for BID? He's been getting a total of .5-.6 u a day on TID (depending on how low he went). I did shoot .3 this morning (3 am, ack) because he was so much higher than usual; given the +4 I think he'll be okay today. In general, do I need to do .2/.3 BIDwhen I was doing .1/.2 on TID? He's actually on been on that low a dose for a week.

Yes, you want to maintain the same daily dose, you just divide it in half.

Ugh. At least it's better than this morning. Somehow I'm doing 3 am/pm.

Is it just an adjustment period or too much insulin? So far he's flat although he had a good am cycle. Here's hoping he doesn't go up too.much more. Will check again at +8.

Huh? Makes no sense after that +5. fed & will check at +12 (3 am).

I can buy into that +8 with a late nadir and the meter variance. Hopefully the pmps...will not increase too much. Good Luck!

He's getting a decent drop. He'll probably go lower but (of course) I won't be home to see it. He may even be skimming blues briefly. Wish the preshots would come down more. They are decreasing--just more slowly than I'd like. I know Cass usually takes 3-4 days to settle into a dose change (and this is a significant change) but I'm tired of being patient. (Of course, that could just be lack of sleep. I decided to stick with the 3am/pm for a while because it's easier with my night class schedule but I still haven't adjusted to the time change yet.)
 
Life's unexpected gifts!!! That was pmps??? +12 not +8...right?

I sure would love to know where he went between +4 and pmps...could have been really nice!

I hope it continues....
