So last night:
PMPS 380, .5u (+8)
AMPS 289, .5u (+8)

Last night was either a bounce or a fur shot, I'm not sure which (or meter error, I guess). He recovered fairly quickly if it was a bounce. Fur shot is possible--the dose is so low that it's hard to tell if I missed. I was happy this morning when it was back down. Let's see what he does today, since we go to the vet tomorrow afternoon. cat_pet_icon

Much nicer!
y'all have a fantastic wednesday!
Carl

Definitely. Rice not good. Can you let us know which flavors so we can all avoid them?
Carl

It's friskies, not ff, but I can look it up tomorrow.

Ok, so all 7 flavors I have contain rice (one lists brewer's rice instead):
Poultry platter
Chicken & tuna
Liver & chicken
Chicken & beef
Turkey & giblets
Mixed grill
Ocean whitefish & tuna (not a favorite.but came in multi-pack)

All of these are pates and all but.one 7% carb or lower (mg is 8).

Crap,
I've been buying FF for Bob, and Friskees for Mullet. BUT, every day as mid-day and mid-night snacks, Bob's been getting a 1/4 can of Friskees (and all have been the "new recipe" pates.)
I haven't checked Bob's BG in a week. Perhaps I should

Carl

Pretty incredible. I test Bob once a week, maybe once every 8-9 days. I get out the meter case, he hears the zipper, and comes running. "Give me food!!!". I sit on the floor, he lays in front of me purring. He's actually wanting the test! I poke him (ashamed to say it took two tries), and just like every time since july, I half dread the "beep". I look at the meter..... 69. Big sigh of relief..... all Bob has to say is "WHERE'S MY SHRIMP!!!!!". So he got a few freeze dried shrimp, and now everybody's happy. But I am going to cut back on the rice pates...

Rice or not, I like most of my ps's lately. I think he may be doing some small bounces. Gonna try for a mid cycle tonight. Got a couple days off from school do I'll be around more. Vet tomorrow.

+5 288

My first impulse was: inverse curve  but then I thought about it. Given meter variation, really kinda flat, so more ;-) .

And squirmy boy has reappeared, so testing is getting interesting. I'll give a vet update this aftenoon.

Turns out the vet appt. was just a weight check (10.9 lb) at no charge (except exasperation -lake cassie appeared in the carrier on the way there).

Pmps was as soon as we came home so is prob. high due to vet stress. We decided 11 lbs was prob. Cass's ideal weight, so we.re good. She said to feed 1+ - 3 cans if friskies per day so 1.5 is good. Back for.weight check in a month.

Now to go fumigate the car...

"lake cassie"..... that's funny!

All that stress to stand on a scale? Jeez. He earned an extra treat, even if he did stink up the car.

Cassie approves of chicken jerky. Benny thinks it's too.hard to eat. "borrowed" a piece from.my.folks' dog to see if.they'd eat.it. I.can buy it at krogers-the freeze dried stuff comes from petsmart.
