Meter stays on the windowsill. Been getting a temp warning on the meter lately (pic of thermometer); wonder how it affects the accuracy of the readings.
 
Other than the cold meter (interesting), my only idea is that Cassie seems to take a long time before settling into a new dose. Just getting the numbers and watching (shaking head every so often) as you have been doing, is the best plan.
 
Interesting, I've never given any thought to how temperature would effect a meter and numbers. Might want to move it to the coffee table just in case.

Can't find any specific info (one article found no change due to temp inanother meter), but if it's not important, why have a warning built into the meter?
 
You could try an experiment and test with a room temp meter then chill it and test again to see if there are any differences.

I bet Carl would be interested in this.
