Carol & Zoey - please check her spreadsheet

Zoey has been on 1.5u of ProZinc since 2/28. Her midcycle numbers are looking much better, but some of her pre-shot numbers are still quite high. I also switched to a new BG meter on 3/1 (ReLion Prime) which may read lower than the previous One-Touch Ultra. I would appreciate any opinions on whether to keep her on the 1.5 units for a while to see if the readings even out, or if I should increase to 2.

Thanks for any advice you can give me. I do think the ProZinc is working, after not very much luck with Novolin and Vetsulin.

I think she is looking pretty good, Carol. I would guess the higher pmps last night was because she dropped lower than she is used to during the day and then bounced up for the pmps (her body senses a lower number than it is used to and releases extra glucose to compensate) There could even have been a green between the 133 and the 101. And you got a nice amps this morning. If she were mine, I would stick with 1.5 a few more cycles and see if the numbers improve.

The bouncing thing (a higher pmps after a low midcycle number) is frustrating but the hope is that she'll get used to those blues and settle in and stop bouncing.

Sometimes kitties just get bouncy! It's frustrating, but it usually settles down over time.
