Care Point VET syringes

I started using Care Point VET syringes given to Ben in a care package.
The VET syringes all seem to be precisely printed. I have not found one
that is miss printed. I am thinking the VET syringes need to be precise and are
compared to the human syringes that can be off a fraction with no harm to
the recipient. I will go with these syringes from now on.

I'm sure Ben had lost weight before going in for dentals and coming out with diabetes DX
He was 11.7, my scale indicated 12 pounds. Tonight he was at 13 pounds, I thought he felt heavier. Being a Bengal, his healthy weight was 15 pounds.

That's strange. I use them as well and find that 7-8 or 10 are misprinted. Maybe it varies from batch to batch? I've started using callipers so the markings don't matter.

That's great news. They start putting on the weight lost once their numbers improve.

AM +1 is 71
Maybe a few mornings ago when his AM +1 was 53, he didn't eat enough after insulin. He might have just eaten his turkey lurkey treat which is a small amount of deli sliced turkey. I don't give him much of that since it has added dextrose, which I don't understand unless it helps the turkey stay moist and slice better?
I have been reading food labels and figuring out ingredients since the late 1970's when most food products didn't even have main ingredients on labels. Now with truth in advertising it is much easier.

He never was fat, I could always feel his ribs. He is not active much since he is a self proclaimed indoor only cat doesn't get the exercise an indoor outdoor cat gets (& not susceptible to cars and most diseases either). That's why I was not expecting his DX, he is older and the infection and pain from teeth could throw him into Hyperglaucemia as the body starts shutting down and conserving resources to help heal. He never did have a fever, I kept an eye on a thermometer for that.

AM +10 is 87
I had to get up in the am today,
section 8 housing had an inspection.
I took the opportunity to get an am +10 reading. Good to know we passed inspection! Kitty living in a good home.
