? Carbs in Whiskas Dreamies

I suppose one wouldn't hurt would it? I can't get out of the house otherwise, they all bar the door!!

The first three basic ingredients appear the same in all types:

"Vegetable protein extract, grain, meat & meat by-products" This definitely sounds like a high carb treat especially considering grain is the second ingredient. I have NO idea how bad the vegetable protein extract might be as far as carbs.. IMO it would be better if you could find a different treat that is not so high carb.
 
They're very similar to Temptations - I don't think they're exactly the same thing as my 2 would tear the house apart for Dreamies but would wait to be given Temptations, but close enough to make no difference to the carb level. Unfortunately I think they are high carb (and kitties get addicted to them very easily). I'd brought some back with me from my last trip to the UK just before Rosa was diagnosed and had to throw out all 3 packs as the cats would find them no matter where I hid them - and then chew open the pack and leave them all over the floor.
 
Mine aren't that clever!! They will play with the packet but haven't worked out how to get inside yet!!
 
I'd offer to lend you Regan...she's the expert at breaking into food packaging. But I'm not sure you need yours to learn how it's done!! ;)
