I have read many times the ways to calculate Carbs in food such as Dry Matter Basis. I don.t pretend to understand all this stuff so I go by the charts and call various makers. I a, confused by the way some of them state the numbers...as an example They may say as fed = 1.03 % then carbs as a percentage of Calories being 4.6 % for the same food. I guess tha means if you have a cup of food there are a certain amount of calories in it, but the cup total is 100% cal for that cup and in that cup the total percentage is based on the percentage of calories to carbs. I think I just confused myself.
