Buttons has been on the low carb foods, finding one that she will eat more than one time is a challenge. Any suggestions. What is a good rule of thumb on carbs. Should I feed 5 or less or stay below 10? her numbers are still running high. Feel I am missing when I shoot  Any help appreciated.

Thank you. Got 9 Lives today, headed to Pet Co this weekend, hubby wont be home so he cant see cost of food, lol. Going to try the Merrick, and she seemed to like the Pro Plan kitten. I think its a texture issue as she loves roast turkey and chicken.

You might want to try the Wellness Core Turkey, Chicken and Liver. It is 8% and my sugar and civvies all like it. It is the ONLY food they will ALL eat. Both Petco and Petsmart carry it. You could pick up a can and let them try it.

Tried the Wellness, turned her nose up at it. Got the 9 Lives turned her nose up to that too. :YMSIGH: Headed to PetCo to try the Merrick.... Runnin out of options.

Don't give up! Have you tried mixing a bit of Fortiflora in yet? You can get it on Amazon pretty cheap. I have been recommending the Wellness core canned foods lately...they seem to be a hit with a lot of cats. Be careful with Merrick's. They changed their formulas last year and a lot of them (including Cowboy cookout) are no longer good for diabetics and the values haven't been updated on Dr. Lisa's spreadsheet.

None of my cats every like Wellness, either canned or dry

None of my cats like the Wellness canned foods either - the ones you get at Whole Foods
BUT...
they go zonkers for the Wellness Core canned food - with the shiny, bronze label. Don't know why but they do.
