Hi - I found this Carb Calculator online. Does anyone have any input on how accurate it is? https://diabeticcathelp.com/ I've been basing a lot of my feeding decisions on it. The food lists I've seen on this forum/FB don't always include the foods I'm feeding Jolie. Thanks !

If you need to find an approximate value for carbohydrates in what you're feeding your cat, there are online cat food carb calculators. You plug in the percentage of protein, fat, moisture, etc.

Here's another one

I have never used any of them

I remember you said you were feeding Weruva

I had posted this for members who have diabetic kitties with kidney issues
Weruva foods

You want the metabolizable energy profile percentage of carbs to be less than 10%, and the phosphorus which Weruva lists in Minerals to be less than 250 mg per 100 cals. So you have to look at two different places in the Weruva charts.
https://weruva.com

When you go to the weruva site and click on one of the pic of the food , click on Detailed Nutrition information that is under guaranteed analysis to the left
YOU WANT CARBS UNDER 10% AND PHOSPHORUS IDEALLY LOW 200's OR LESS

Is this what you are looking for to get the carbs?

Omg yes. How the heck do you get all this detailed information? My veterinarian who is a top internist in New York City probably knows about none of this.
