I was about to log back in a week ago to thank everyone again for their help and post good news but have been stressed and am once again at a loss as to what to do!

After taking everyones advice, Geesh was doing amazingly well. His sugars were mostly under 200 and some days, he didn't even need insulin. I took the curve numbers to my vet and he was so happy and said it sounded like he's starting to regulate. I jinxed myself
I had to take him to my grandma's house because my brother came home with his dog, who wants to kill the cat so they can't be together. He only stayed there two days but I noticed once Geesh came home, his sugars rose. I don't know if it's connected but I don't know what happened to make his numbers skyrocket. He's been home six days now.
I now test him before every shot and for the past six or so days, they've been all over 450. That's the low end. I've followed the instructions to test, feed then shoot. I've been feeding him the FF classics but he's not a fan of the chicken so I try to mix it with other various classics I found on the list I've seen posted here. Once I started integrating other classic Fancy Feasts I've noticed its gone up. Once again, I don't know what the direct cause is and if different varieties could change his sugar. I HAVE NO CLUE?!?!
I will attempt another curve when I'm free this weekend.
Does anyone have any advice or clue what's going on? I'm not sure if I should ask to change the insulin or if I need to adjust the dose. This is so overwhleming at times when you have no idea what you're doing. I don't know what I would do without this place!
