Canned food: How much?????

For a 13 lb, 10 yr old cat, how much wet canned food would you feed per serving if feeding 2 x a day?
The amounts on the cans seem like an awful lot.

I have always fed dry food 1/4 to 1/3 cup 2 X a day.

I would start with about 3 oz per meal. Adjust up if Ginger is always hungry and doesn't need to lose weight. Adjust down if there is always food left or Ginger needs to lose.

a full can is 5.5 oz, so you are saying to give between 1/2 to 3/4 of a whole can?

Yes, I would give 1/2 of a 5.5 oz can per meal.
