Can vaccines affect appetite & BGs?

Howie had his annual appt yesterday which included his rabies and other vaccines. Last night he struggled to eat (also been dealing with some pancreatitis issues which are in the mend). This morning, he’s lethargic and really struggling to eat again. His BG was 295 which is really high for him (normally 80-150). Since it was such a sudden onset, could this be from his vaccines? I’m trying to remember if this happened the last time. He already got Cerenia and Mirataz last night. I’m a little freaking out as I leave tonight for a work trip through Thursday and am worried for my critter sitter dealing with this.
 
Two of my cats (civi's )will not have an appetite/eat anything the morning after their rabies shot. The get the Merial PureVax rabies shot every three years.
Vaccines stimulate the imune system and loss of appetite and lethargy is one common side effect. I would expect it would also effect BG but none of my diabetes have and side effects from vaccines.
 
Tyler did get the rabies and fvrcp shot at the same time and it did raise his BG for about a day on and off . I hope Howie feels better today and gets his appetite back :bighug::cat:
 
Monday Wiggles (diabetic) and his brother Boots had the FCRVP vaccine. That evening both ate find. The next morning Wiggles ate fine but his brother had zero interest in food (or treats later). In the even Wiggles ate fine but his brother only ate about 1/3 if his food. Today Boots resumed eating normally. Boot had hyperthyroidism that was cured but the radioactive iodine treatment (RadioCat) six months ago.
