Can the Lantus discount card be renewed?

Jenks is nearing the end of this third of three discount pens on the Lantus card. Is that it, and we're back to full price from now on? Or is there a way to renew or re-register for the card? Any ideas or suggestions?
 
I thought I had read here about someone renewing the card. We were not able to renew the card. :evil: There may be some other sorts of discounts available, perhaps someone here will know.

I was able to get a second card for Trix, but I did make one big mistake of not using the same birthdate I used for her first one. That caused all kinds of confusion. My pharmacist was able to push it through after spending much time on the phone, but the fine folks at Solostar wanted to speak directly to me, too. I never got around to calling them because Trix suddenly went OTJ thanks to (ironically) a sudden bout with pancreatitis and I haven't had to refill since then. So, I don't know what would have transpired during that conversation.

At the very least, it doesn't hurt to try to get a new one...the worst thing they can do is say "no".

Did you simply sign up for a new one on the website? Or did you speak to a customer service representative by phone?
 
I re-signed up on the website. Apparently her info was still in the system, which is why there was an issue when the pharmacist tried to run it through and there was a conflict with the birthdates. I honestly could not remember the date I used the first time! When the conflict came up on the computer, the pharmacist called and spoke to a rep; after about 20 minutes on the phone with them (what a great pharmacist!!), she was able to get it pushed through, but the rep requested that I give them a call.

Luckily, I made a note of the birthdate I used when registering Jenks. Fingers crossed!
