Can someone explain what a bounce is?

A bounce may ocurr when the glucose level goes down very suddenly or goes down to an unfamiliar number.

The body compensates by releasing hormones which elevate the glucose level by releasing stored carbohydrate (glycogen) from the liver. It may take 3 days or so to clear.

For the cat very sensitive to insulin changes, you may want to make changes as small as possible at a time. Other than that, you just wait it out and don't panic.
