? Can someone advise me about my cat's food so that he doesn't bounce so much ? Could this have an inf

My cat currently eats 2% food but I was thinking if it would be the problem with her bouncing. Sometimes when I think he is going to go down fast I give him 8% but normally he always eats 2%, could you advise if it can influence the food to go down so that he bounces ?

Hello Xelo. I'm not sure if that would apply to Sinver, but what seems to work for my cat Bella is to give her her food, the same total amount, in smaller meals, at preshot, +2, +3 and +4, instead of bigger meals less often. If she is low at PS I even give her a snack at +1. I only give her very LC, 0 to 3%, unless she is very low, but that's because it works for her. If 8% works better for Sinver, to keep him from crashing too fast, then I think it's fine. You could also mix the 2 to get something in between, around 5-6%.

So I don't know that I can really say anything to the food issue. I will say looking at ss you're seeing some good blues. With those lower numbers than Sinver is used to it could be causing the bounce back into higher numbers not the food necessarily. As I'm sure you have seen the better their numbers get the more bouncy they seem to be. That's just because their bodies gave been used to the higher numbers and triggers the body to go back to what they think is normal. Stay the course you're doing great. I'd say be careful with the higher carb. Sometimes just a little low carb is enough to keep them surfing safely. Trust your testing :bighug:

I have started today with the 2% and 8% mix why e tried other 5% foods and he does not want them so he eats it and today if you look at the sinver spreadsheet he seems to be more the same .. apartir de +7 no longer eats until pm is a test to see how it goes why his body in seeing the green color .. goes to pink or red .. I would like to try other alternatives. Thank you for your advice

When do you feed him usually?
I agree with Rain, his SS looks good, and today he is all blue. He seems to bounce in pinks after he sees greens, which is normal, his body needs to get used to those lower numbers. He will bounce less and less as he sees them more often.
It is very hard to stay patient, I know :bighug:
You said "a partir de +7", do you speak French? je suis francaise ;-)

I am Spanish, I feed him about 25 grams after am then at +7 I do not give him more until pm. If we have been like this for almost a year and his body always does the same thing going from green to pink .. and of course it is frustrating that's why I ask if there is a way to not rebound so much his body ...

I feel your frustration! Leo was/is up and down. At the beginning of this journey, his carb level was/is quite low, and it was only recently I paid attention the specifics of LC, MC, HC:
▪︎Anything 10% and under is low carb, MC is 11-15%, HC 16% and above.

The Chewy autoship popped out sooner than I realized and I still don't have a higher LC, so sometimes I add a little 10% to the low 3% to make it higher. Leo is extremely happy when I add it.

Also, I make sure he eats 'last chance' food before the 2-hr fasting before PMPS. Otherwise, he would get hungry and stressed out and PMPS would be high(er). But this was Leo's reaction to no food available. Maybe Sinver is the same. ??
