Is it to early to increase the dose or can I move him at 0.75 units tonight? I got new insulin Friday night to see if that is what was causing the high numbers. I think it is clear the dose is just to low. But is it to soon to increase?

I decided to go ahead and give the increased dose of 0.75 tonight.
I will do a curve on the weekend and increase again if needed.

I would stay with the new dose for 7 days as you are doing SLGS unless he drops under 90 in which case you would reduce the dose.
Are you able to get any tests in at all during the am cycle?
What are you feeding him and when?

Can't I increase after 5 cycles? Or is that too soon? I am worried about him staying this high, his symptoms have come back full force with his hunger, thirst & urination.
Unfortunately I am un able to get any tests during the am cycle right now. Once I am done moving on the 1st I will be able to get way more in the way of tests.
He eats Fancy Feast. Besides his shot times when he eats I feed him as he asks, he is very clear when he wants food lol.
I normally have a timed feeder for when I am at work opening every 3 hours but it is currently packed up so I have been leaving two cans watered down and he eats that throughout the day.

If you are following SLGS you can only increase every 7 days after doing a curve..
Stay with the 0.75 units now that you have gone up but hold the dose for 7 days.
Stay with the SLGS until you have finished moving then have a look and see if you could manage TR. …you will get results quicker with that.

Yeah, I plan on switching to TR once we are all settled into the new place. I will do a curve the 28th and increase that day aswell.

Should I have him on a specific feeding schedule? Would that help regulate?
