Tip is, yet again, not eating that much, but could it be the (what feels like) sudden heat that is effecting her appetite? At first I thought it was that I had given her a new flavor to try so she wouldn't get bored of the same 3 flavors over and over again. But that doesn't seem to be the case. She kinda sniffed it, looked at me, tried a little then walked off. Did the same with the turkey & giblet pate. I'm going to go check on her in a little to see if she eats the chicken.

But yes, does the weather effect appetite any? She's otherwise having no symptoms.

Also, she goes to the vet tomorrow, so if she keeps up the lack of appetite tomorrow, I'll be asking.

EDIT: Should note, she is starting to eat a little, but not very much. Just enough for her insulin.

Alright, just making sure if I should be really worried or what. But just in case, I added some extra water to her food. Closing in on 80 degrees in the house, yeesh.

Sneakers always ate less in the summertime.

My AC in the summer doesn't kick on until it reaches almost 78 when I am not at home- which does make for one flat cat- but I always left plenty of water to drink and she spent most of her time on the cooler tile. My house is also surrounded by trees on the south side.

I always have the fan with timer on during the night when we turned off the aircon in the living room. Ventilation is better with the fan on.

It may help to keep the food in a chilled container, or to partially freeze it.
Eating cooler food may help cool the cat.

If it winds up hot in the house again when it comes to her dinnertime feeding, I'll give it to her cool. Hopefully though the in-window A/C can get installed today and that won't be much of an issue after today. Glad to know it isn't Tip. :)
