I have a very sweet, very elderly gentleman who is caring for an older old diabetic on Lantus. He can only likely practice a relaxed protocol due to his age. He can't use a message board like the FDMB. He does use email. This cat is in desperate need of COMPETENT dosing advice from someone willing to answer his emails and give safe Lantus dosing advised via relaxed protocol. I am not qualified to give dosing advice! Can anyone help? Msg. me here or feel free to email (or both). My email address is renarf@comcast.net.

Thank you!

Well, my first thought is that you could have him email you, you post to the forum on his behalf, we give advice, you email it back to him.

Cut and paste would be your friend. What do you think?

I am not sure any ONE person is going to want to give dosing advice by email to a stranger due to liability concerns so I think Linda's idea is a good one. That way, all experienced members can weigh in.

Actually I'm willing to act as the go between via email but as Linda suggested he can email me. I'll maintain a spreadsheet and copy and paste to the forum as well as post the advice here then copy and paste in reverse back to him. That way its still peer reviewed but he doesn't need to try to navigate the board.
