Camille is gone

Unfortunately I had to make the hardest decision any pet owner has to make tonight, I had Camille euthanized this evening. I got a call this morning that Camille's blood sugar was extremely high and that she was unresponsive. I instructed the boarding facility to take her to my animal hospital and drove home from my vacation at the beach. Because she needed 24 hour care I took her to an Emergency Animal Care Facility, but her condition continued to deteriorate tonight. To make a long story short, they were unable to turn her around and thought she had other issues going on ... maybe a possible tumor or cancer that was complicating her condition. I decided the kindest thing was to let her go. I'm devastated because she was such a sweetheart, and I loved her so much. :cry: Thank you for the help you have given during her diabetic treatment.

I am so very sorry for your loss. You obviously loved Camille very much, and you did everything in your power to make her life happy.

I hope you can find comfort in your memories of her.
