Cami - frustrated

She has beautiful numbers again, but she is peeing totally outside th box (well, about 90%), I think. I even got the plastic runner you put over carpets with the spikes on the back to stick into the carpet and out it down upside down. This was the "deep" carpet version - and she still walked over it and peed on it! And she got on a chair and squatted to pee. Luckily there was a folded, washable blanket on the chair so she peed on that. It is being washed now.

She was doing so well in this regard until Monday. Now she is out of control. Very frustrating and I am having visions of needing to crate her when I am gone or asleep.

Any other suggests would be welcome. She is already on prozac. I started her on 1/4 tab for about 2 weeks, upper her to 1/2 tab for about 3 weeks and had dropped her back to 1/4 tab about 10 days before all this started up again. I have her back to 1/2 tab for the last 3 days.

+22 was 131 so she got .05u

The only thing I can think of would be a urinary infection. I am at a loss as to why this would have started all of a sudden. Prozac will usually take care of some behavioral issues like that.
My cat Andy(GA) was on prozac fo inappropiate spraying, he would spray urine on the wall or door. It did help but I did find out later that he had bladder stones and had to be operated on to remove those.
See what the others say.

I hope, now that your company has left, the Cami goes back to improving. I can't even imagine dealing with inappropriate peeing on a daily basis. I hope the increase in prozac helps too. Sending Cami feel better vibes and strength to you.

Well, at least her numbers are great: 104, 88 today so far. She is getting .05u about every 24 hrs.

Still peeing on the rug. I wonder what the max dose for prozac is? Anyone know?

I got pee pads today to try for both Cami and my aunt's cat. I hope they work for both cats.
