Sigh. And I have to start vacuuming - that won't help her BGs, I'm sure. I can get a few spot checks, but will be gone from +6 to +12. She is back to .15u
Just a thought: my friend gave my Greenies dental treats for cat and they each got 2 last night. Could they be an issue?
As an aside, his cat has intermittent diarrhea that has "no cause" that can be found on lab tests. I suspect IBD. He has changed her diet to Wellness and grain free, but leaves down Blue Buffalo dry (which she doesn't seem to eat much of). I have suggested digestive enzymes, probiotics, etc., which he tried but did not stick with. Anyway, he talked to a clerk at a big box pet store and that person said, "oh, she needs a low protein diet." !!!! WTH? And sold him a "low protein, grain free dry food". Yikes. He handled me the bag, Nature's Balance, which has oats and rice. Um, not grain free. Jeeze. I'd like to get my hands on that sales woman and tell her to NOT give nutrition advice when she obviously has no clue other than what the marketing from these companies tells her, and to especially not LIE about the products she is pushing. I told him to ask the vet about B12 shots. That's my new thing, so every cat I see "needs" them, lol.
