amPS was 235!

When I woke up she came over and I picked her up and we had a nice cuddle. She even licked my fingers! That was a first. While I was getting dressed she kept trying to lead me to the food dishes, which was odd because there was food in them. I just wonder if she went low overnight? Not too low, just lower than she has been in a week or so. Oh well....

The cuddle was nice.

Bummer about the AMPS. You may have already said this and I wasn't paying attention or forgot, but I wonder if her high #'s correspond with the digestive issues?

I'm not sure. She did have an evening with a lot of gastric noises* going on just before these 200s, but no other symptoms. I just got B12 for her (and Beau), but I need to makes sure my syringes will work for it - they are shorts and I think it needs to be IM? Anyway, B12 was suggested for her issues by Beth P, through DCIN, and I also heard about it from my vet regarding my aunt's cat two weeks ago - so she is starting on it. Can't hurt.

She was 195 at +6

*this was a chronic problem when I first got her - LOTS of noise and obvious gas bloating. It had greatly tapered down, but I would still hear it on occasion. Plus, she farts if she is mad, lol! Poor thing. I do wonder if she still has "stuff" in her stomach causing problems. She does not get into anything here. Not like Jeddie did where he went looking for every bit of fur or fuzz on the carpet and ate it. But she did get into the garbage at her last home until they got a heavy closing can.

Marcy, I got a script from my vet and filled it at the pharmacy. Both of them said that .25 ml = 25u on a u100 syringe.

She was 213 tonight. Don't know why she is going so far out of control all of a sudden after such beautiful numbers and no insulin for 8 days.
