We give Rewster 3 oz ob BFF Pate (5% carbs) at 5:30 am/pm with her shots. It works out to be 90 calories per 3 oz. At 7:30am/pm she gets 1/2 a Sheba perfect portion which is about 20 calories per 1/2 portion. So in total she is consuming about 220 calories per day. She usually starts begging an hour or so before her shot times, but then lazily eats over a period of 3 hours. She almost always eats everything.
She's gained about a half pound since diagnosis, which pleased me because I was worried about her losing weight. I felt her spine and hip bones then, and I don't now. She's been around 10-11 lbs most of her whole life, except when she was a year old and closer to 9 lbs and in 2018 she was 12.6 lbs.
Are we feeding her too much? Are the meals times/amounts negatively impacting her BG curves?
