Hello everyone !

would someone please look at callie's ss and give dose advise ! the vet said to give her 1 unit and keep her on that for a week , the day she had the dental done she had a 1/2 unit and was 478 at ps well her pmps was 293.

since then she has had 1 unit and had some not so bad days buttttt since yesterday morning I increased to 1.2 and she had pinks all day , so I went to .9 on 10/12 and she has been in pinks all day, with just now at 12:30am +5 =412 ??

I'm checking for ketones everyday been (-) she is also on clavamox since last thursday bid.

I was looking at your SS and I am thinking that you should increase now
From what I understand, for a few days after the dental they are more sensitive to the insulin
but then that wears off and you have to increase again
(that is also what happened to Shakes)
I think I would increase back up to 1.2, but lets wait and see what everyone else says

I would go back up to maybe a fat one unit or 1.2. But be watching - sometimes on antibiotics, you get some wonky numbers as the infection clears.
