No old condo for now :)

Hi everyone,
I moved but now I am back with some changes. Due to chaos and changes, Callie is staying at my daughters house along with sister Missy. I also got a job ... yea .. but a price to be paid is that Callie will have to stay with Laurel for a while until I can set a new schedule or move to my own place. I now am working Fr & Sat 7am-3pm and Sun & Mon 3pm-11pm so getting Callie her shots on a schedule will take real planning between Laurel and myself. She has done an excellent job with Callie and Callie is happy. I see her and give her shots when I can. On my off days I go help with Laurels dog and cat as well as my 2 babies.
Callie has been running higher numbers, but not too bad. She is maintaining around 240 to 310 as a norm. I am testing on a not as regular basis as I would like, but it is what it is for now. I see from a quick peek at the beans babies (too much like beannie babies lol) that all seems to be well on most fronts. Kiss the kitties for me. I will stop by often now that I have regular internet to keep in touch. All is coming along well with all us. Happy day .. have a job .. see me dancing! Hey more and better kitty food for the sweeties! Also a new adoptee (Lexie .. my friend/roomie/landlords kitten) who turned into a cat from a kitten it seems since I had left. Only 8 weeks ago I might add. Hugs to my kind and dear friends here. Thanks for everything and know I was thinking of you when away. Libby and Callie (and civies: brother Buddy and sister Missy)

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

If Laurel is helping out with Callie, would she want to post? We're happy to lend her a hand if she needs one.

Wow! Thanks guys!!! Laurel will not have the time to post as she is working 10 hrs a day and taking care of 2 boys 9 and 11 as well as the dog (a year old Lab (Ariel) and her kitty (Nutmeg .. a sweet rescue cat). As I said I do go and take care of all of them on my off days. Laurel was in a wedding this past weekend so I stayed over and had a long visit with them all. I take care of the testing though. Laurel hasn't expressed any interest in doing this though she has come around to my thinking on the feeding. At first she was upset about it. I guess she thought that I was in some way saying that her cat food wasn't good enough. I bet a lot of us have had an issue of this type. She did go and get what she thought was better food, but still was really not. I had left enough of the wet food to maintain though and this week I can afford the Evo again. Laurel prefers to deal with the dry and I have to let her cope however is best for her now. I will be over there as ofen as possible to feed and test. I am going to be able to go at least 4 days a week so I can stay on top of things. When I get a place of my own .. close to her .. then I will put Callie on a 6 am ..pm schedule. Laurel can then do the pm shot on Sun and Mon while I can take care of all the rest. Any thoughts on this idea are welcome. It is good to be back and I hope to get a place of my own soon so I can hopefully get Callie a better maintence program going. I want to see her back in blue and green numbers. I will keep in touch even though I won't be posting numbers yet since my testing is so random. A big hug to you all and your babies!

where do you shop for cat food? i've found Abrams & Weakley on the east shore to have quite reasonable prices, and a pretty good selection.
