One of my civies needs your prayers & healing vibes. Callie has not been eating for several days and very lethargic. She went to the vet yesterday and they did blood work on her. She is anemic, dehydrated and also has an infection. They gave her fluids and prescribed Baytril & Mirtazapine. She is a little more active today and is eating at least freeze dried treats. I still have to force feed her soupy canned food to make sure she eats enough and gets enough fluids in her. Please keep her in your thoughts so she feels better soon.

Healing prayers heading your way. We spend so much time and energy on our sugar cats that it is always extra hard when one of the civies get sick.

She is starting to feel better. This morning she ate without having to be force fed, though the only thing she would eat was a cooked chicken breast. She also came downstairs from my bedroom.

Callie is still getting better. She is still coming downstairs and jumping on the counters. She is also getting back to being her grumpy self. cat(2)_steam

She is still eating but not enough to make me feel completely comfortable. If she only eats a few bites, then I usually will end up force feeding her some more food. Hopefully things will continue to improve. She has an appointment on Saturday with the vet for a health check and to get a refill on her antibiotic.

Just seeing this...Of course you have our healing vibes...The fur gang are sending precious Callie lots of whisker kisses and head bonks and even a couple sloppy drooler lovins just for good measure.

Feel better soon Callie girl.

I've not been here for a few days so I missed your post ..... I'm glad she is doing better and I hope her vet visit goes better. Sending prayers ahd get better vibes for Callie.

Hugs for a worried Mom too!

Callie had her recheck this morning and the vet thinks that she looks great. She still has a couple more weeks of antibiotics to take. I can tell she is feeling a lot better since she now fights me when I have to give her the meds. So the next two weeks will be a challenge.

I keep trying to explain to her that the pills is what is making her feel better, but she does not want to listen. Stubborn cat. cat(2)_steam
